Microscopy technique has grown and broadened greatly, including electron, optical and confocal. The application of this technique has greatly contributed to the advancement of knowledge in various fields. Thus, it is time to take advantage of the situation and to explore innovative technique during gathering of researchers and professionals from academia, industries, government agencies and equipment manufacturer. Advances in technology are often based on sound fundamentals from the fusion of different branches of science. In pursuit of sustainable development in any progressive society, the same principles apply for the advancement of Green Technologies. This Conference gives special mention to Microscopy and Nuclear Science, with an attempt to explore and harness their potentials on their own merits or through innovative blending, for example, through microscopy in bionanotechnology, nuclear imaging and autoradiography, to create advances in industry, health, agriculture and environment, for new knowledge generation, wealth creation and societal wellbeing. The organizing committee is pleased to invite all parties to this conference which aims to provide a forum to present and discuss the most recent developments in fundamental and applied aspect of microscopy, besides its future needs.

An abstract of 150-200 words should be sent by up load on the website http://online.nuclearmalaysia.gov.my/sems/emsm2011/
We encourage all potential authors to submit their abstracts electronically by registering your good self through the main menu , not later than 30 August 2011. Please include the title of presentation, authors’ names, affiliation, addresses, telephone, fax and e-mail addresses for correspondence. All abstracts will be reviewed and printed in the conference abstract book. Selected papers will be refereed for publication in Malaysian Journal of Microscopy (volume 8).
